For A while I’m struggling with my Boss GT1000, in which I find it hard to get a good tone out of it, so I’ve seen a lot of videos about the Fractal Audio, the Helix and other hardware to get good tones to use with my 6, 7, 8 and 9 string guitars and also my basses. I joined user groups and asked for some advise. What seems to be missing is a desktop VST interface on my Mac and Neural DSP told several customers ‘it is coming soon’, I also asked for an integration with the Neural DSP Archetype plugins I use. I really hope this integration will come soon and transferring Impulse Responses to the Quad Cortex. Several users told me about the Quad Cortex and how they enjoy the devise and its user-friendly interface and using it live on stage. It is also possible to connect several guitars and a bass to the Quad Cortex and making ‘scenes’ for live performances for your whole band. That’s very promising indeed. I’m not yet bought the device and still considering. I own 8 guitars and two basses and waiting for my Solar V1.8 Canabalisimo and I’m considering to buy the Legator N8FOD-JPR with fanned frets and Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. All this has to sound perfect, the electric and piezo equipped acoustic guitars (Yamaha NPX5 NA and Ibanez AE275BT-LGS baritone), my Ibanez SDGR 6 string fanned fret bass, my Warwick Alien 6 string fretless bas, my Ibanez UB804-MOB Electric Upright Bass, so that’s worth considering a lot.

Still waiting for the Solar V1.8 Canabalisimo which will be shipped in 5 to 7 weeks from now. I ordered it June 24 2021. I want it all it to work properly. More news I will share soon.
